As General Manager of Blue Duck Tavern, Joseph Cerione brings over 15 years of hospitality experience, overseeing the daily operations, including the wine program of the restaurant and Blue Duck Lounge.

Prior to joining Blue Duck Tavern in spring 2012, Cerione served as General Manager and Wine Director of Michel at The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. From March 2009 to September 2010, he was sommelier/wine director of Hakkasan Restaurant in the historic Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida. His career includes positions in the food & beverage department at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami and the renowned Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.

Cerione earned a B.A. in Philosophy from San Diego State University in 2003, and has achieved the distinction of Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2007.
